One might think that a 12 year veteran pro rider has found his
position and fit on his bike for many years.
That's what I have been thinking until last December.
I haven't changed my position on the bike in the last 3 yrs, and not
even the position of my shoe cleats.
And even before I have been really sceptic about changing something
after your body has been working in a certain way.
Then in last December I met Lloyd Thomas, who my team is working with, and he made me change my thoughts first, and of course my position a few minutes later.
Lloyd is a person who can mix high tecnology and common sense and he is able to convert the numbers he see from the set up to changes in your position.
He changed me A LOT, not only a few mms here and there. Even the head of mechanics was a bit worried and recommended me to do changes step by step and not immediately.
I reckon that I have a good flexibility and I felt comfortable on the trial on the trainer that I wanted strongly to try my new position on the road. So I did and I am now completely satisfied.
Feeling of comfortable, more riding energy and more ability to use my core developing more power.
Changes at almost 34 yrs old is not so common, but all the changes are
based on common sense.
Thanks Lloyd
